Television Advert Analysis

Image
1. What is the ad for / what is the message ? This adverts purpose is to promote marmite spread while also poking fun at public's usual distaste for the product. 2. Who is the target audience? The primary audience for this advert is a younger audience due to the focus being on Paddington Bear , a character usually intended for children. Idea/Planning/Changes Throughout the conceptual phase of our short film we went through many different renditions of the story, originally being black and white with the only color on show being red to create a stylized effect. This would later change into being a simply shot film with no filter, Instead of the focus being on a clown it was first planned to be a mime however, while filming we came across a few problems with the costume of the mime actor. The makeup process took far too long and getting into the costume took a lengthy amount of time. We overcame this problem just by changing the costume to a jumpsuit and wig. The first set of storyboards also featured the ...
